Hi, I'm Erin
Meet Erin!
Hi, I’m Erin. I support people and organizations across Canada as they navigate job searching, career transitions, and workforce planning. I draw on years of experience working with job seekers and employers, helping clients understand what they bring to the table and how to communicate it clearly. My work involves offering real-world guidance and providing tools that make the next step feel achievable. I believe small shifts can create real movement in someone's career path, and I aim to make that process feel realistic and supportive.
About Erin
Hi, I'm Erin!
I'm a Career Development Practitioner based in Ottawa (Carp), Ontario, on the traditional lands of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation. I've spent my career helping people navigate job search, employment transition, and the complex systems that shape the modern job market. My experience spans public, private, and nonprofit sectors, from developing community programs to supporting job seekers and working directly in employer operations like hiring, training, and onboarding. This cross‑sector perspective gives me a clear understanding of both job search realities and organizational expectations.
Working on both sides of the employment landscape has reinforced this belief: Job search is a skill—and most people were never taught how to do it well.
My own career transitions, including difficult and unexpected ones, sharpened my understanding of how overwhelming the process can be. It's why my work focuses on providing practical tools, insight into how hiring systems function, and support that helps people take meaningful action.
Today, I help people navigating career transitions build strong job search skills, recognize their strengths, articulate their value, and move toward opportunities that fit who they are and where they want to go. If you're navigating change or exploring your next step, I'm here to help you build momentum and move forward feeling confident in your next steps.
Land Acknowledgement
The social work profession has played a big role in upholding systems that have caused lasting harm to Indigenous communities and ways of life. Harm that continues today. As a Social Service Worker living and working on the unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people, I carry this awareness into my work and strive to actively challenge these systems.
I remain committed to showing up with intention and humility, creating and supporting spaces that listen, respect, and honour the rich diversity of Indigenous cultures and traditions across Canada. I am grateful for every opportunity to learn, for guidance that helps me grow, and for experiences that continue to deepen my awareness, understanding, and inform my actions.
